The Evolution of Peachtree Corners

As a resident in Peachtree Corners I take pride in my community and what it has to offer. From our newly built LA Fitness, to our soon to be Town Center, Peachtree Corners has a lot to offer to companies, investors, and families!

History

In the late 1960s, a local Businessman named Paul Duke had the idea of creating Peachtree Corners. Duke’s goal was to create a place where residents could live, work, and be entertained in one centralized hub. The work component later became Technology Park, where many technology companies, including Relutech, sit today. While the idea was around for decades, it wasn’t until July of 2012 when the City of Peachtree Corners was officially established.

Current

Peachtree Corners is currently home to over 40,000 residents, including myself, and is actually both the newest and fastest growing city in Gwinnett County. In addition to residents, Peachtree Corners is also home to many Fortune 500 businesses and continues to attract IT companies from all around the country. A newly designed shopping and dining center called The Forum finalizes the triad of attractions that Paul Duke envisioned for Peachtree Corners. With over 80 shopping and dining attractions, there’s bound to be something for everyone. My team’s favorite lunch spot, Aomi, is even there! For more lunch spots in Peachtree Corners and Norcross as a whole, check out this blog written by my coworker.

The Future

Peachtree Corners is in the midst of developing a new Town Center. Located directly across the street from The Forum, the new Town Center will offer new homes, entertainment venues, restaurants and retailers. With an expected completion date of Spring 2019, there’s no better time to visit Peachtree Corners!

I am honored and grateful to both live and work in Peachtree Corners. With so much to offer, I can’t imagine a better place to be If you’re looking to bring your family or business to The Corners, I highly recommend it!
